There were great swings in scoring, even in short periods of the game. The girls got beat up pretty good in the first and fourth periods, but did well in the middle periods.

In that first quarter the Lady Raiders couldn't buy a field goal and took only ten attempts. The small number of field goal attempts came about because of the ten turnovers the Raiders suffered in this first period. D-O had an 11-0 scoring run in 3 1/2 minutes. The lone point for L-N came on a Maddy Laughlin free throw.

L-N took a big step in the middle periods. At one point had a 7-2 scoring run. Brynn Harrison got the Raider scoring started with about a minute gone in the second period. Vali Koehler contributed two points, but Kara Menke scored 15 of her game team high 21 points in the second period, including a three point shot with the buzzer going off at the end of the period.

The Raider defense continued doing a good job in the third period. In the fourth period, L-N continue to do well except for a one minute span where D-O went on an 8-2 scoring run.

The Raiders had a 42-28 edge in rebounding and made 7 – 11 free throws but just could not overcome the turnovers suffering about twice the number D-O had. Kara Menke recorded another double/double with 21 points and 14 rebounds.
