Superior boys disappointed

Saturday afternoon the Superior boys basketball team played at hard faught game in Lincoln against Standing Bear.

Edward Naughton, news reporter, said, “The game was hard to watch. Standing Bear played rough, repeatedly fouled Superior, and I personally felt a technical foul or two should have been called by the referee against some of the Standing Bear players or their coach.”

Superior had a hard time getting shots to drop and the game ended Standing Bear boys 60, Superior 13 with a running clock.
