Friday the Superior-Deshler Cooperative wrestling girls competed in Geneva in an all girls invitational.
Cheyenne Stacy won first place in the 120 weight class. Carlee Hinz place second in the 145 pound class and Grace Martin placed 10th in the 170 pound class.
Girls from 24 schools competed. They included Adsams Central, York, Seward, Auburn, Wood River, Palmyra, Louisville, Lincoln Southeast, Centennial, Fillmore Central, Sandy Creek, Meridian, Columbus, Lincoln, Shelton, Dorchester, Doniphan-Trumbull, Exeter-Milligan-Friend. Malcolm, Oakland, Axtell, Centra and Harvard.
Boys compete Saturday
Saturday, the Superior-Deshler Cooperative wrestling boys competed in Geneva. They earned 74 points at the meet. Competitors were from Seward, Doniphan Trumbull, East Butler, Sandy Creek, Fillmore Central, York, Palmer, Meridian, Palmyra, Twin River, Hastings St. Cecilia, Oakland Craig, Lawrence-Nelson and Auburn.

In the 120 pound weight class, Rigley McDonald placed 10th and Cooper Cambron 12th.
Holden McDonald placed third in the 126 pound class.
Kamden Boyles placed third in the 150 pound class, Carl Lupin placed 9th, Dominic Page placed 10th and Cooper Benjamin place 11th.
In the 157 pound class, Lincoln Sander placed 6th and Johnny Hinz placed 9th.
Kyler Boyles placed first in the 190 pound class and Chistian Osweiler placed 6th, while David Hodges placed 11th.
Turett McCord placed 6th in the 215 pound class.
