The Rock Hills boys basketball team took on the Red Cloud Warriors, Friday, in Mankato. Both teams faught hard to win. Red Cloud won 59 - 52. The score by quarters were as follows: first quarter - Rock Hills 10 - Red Cloud 13; second quarter both teams scored 12; third quarter Rock Hills 13 and Red Cloud 17; both teams scored 17 in the fourth.
Rock Hills girls also were defeated, but only by one point. The final score was 61-62 in favor of the Warriors.
Rock Hills out-scored Red Cloud in both the first and fourth quarters. The Grizzilies scored 13, 8, 12 and 18 by quarter while Red Cloud scored 11, 12, 16 and 12 by quarter.
The match-up was a non-league game.
Friday, the Grizzlies are to play the St.John's Tipton Catholic Bluejays and attempt to resume their winning record.
