Sister Richardine (Luella) Rempe of La Mirada, California, passed away on Dec. 10, 2024, following a long battle with cancer.
Sister Richardine was the daughter of Richard and Hilda (Ostdiek) Rempe. After entering the order of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, she was a teacher in several mid-western schools before being transferred to California where she taught and was a school administrator.
A funeral Mass for Sister Richardine will be held Monday, Jan. 20, at St. Mariana de Paredes Catholic Church, 7922 Passons Blvd., Pico Rivera, California. Burial will follow at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Rosemead, California..
