Lawrence American Legion has New Year's Day Bash

The Lawrence American Legion hosted a New Year’s Day bash. The entire day was filled with family and friends enjoying and celebrating the New Year.

Starting at nine in the morning, a breakfast buffet was served. An all-you-can-eat buffet included bacon, sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, egg casserole, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, french toast, rolls, coffee, juice and milk.

The bar was open from eight a.m. until two p.m. Later it opened at four and closed at 8 p.m. There were many activities provided to join throughout the day.

The evening meal was served from 5 to 7 p.m., consisting of chili and hamburgers.
