The Nelson American Legion hosted its annual New Year’s Eve celebration. Music, dancing and other special events were included throughout the evening. Saucy Karaoke started at 7:30 p.m., and continued into the early morning hours. Hamburgers were served.
The American Legion in Nelson is a community organization that provides support and resources for veterans and their families. They host events and activities that promotes camaraderie among members and honors the service of those who have served in the military.
The organization was founded by an Act of Congress after World War 1. The American Legion advocates for the unique needs of every generation of veterans, service members and their families who pledge to protect our nation.
