Rogers and Kovanda retire from NC assessor's office
Susan Rogers, Nuckolls County Assessor, and Lisa Kovanda, Nuckolls County Deputy Assessor, retired at year's-end after serving a combined 53 years for the patrons of the county. Susan Rogers, Nuckolls County Assessor, and Lisa Kovanda, Nuckolls County Deputy Assessor, retired Tuesday after servicing a combined 53 years for the patrons of the county.
Lisa began working for the county assessor's office in April of 1990 and has served as deputy assessor since 2012. She is retiring after serving nearly
35 years.
Susan began working for the county as an employee of the county clerk's
office in 2006. She transferred to the county assessor's office in 2010. She ran for the county assessor position in the 2011 election and has held that position since then.
Susan will be working at Superior Outdoor Power, which her and her husband, Keith, recently purchased.
