Jewell County Health Department is preparing to offer classes in the upcoming year in regard to healthy living and chronic disease prevention. Studies show that 1 in 3 adults have prediabetes. Losing weight and being active can reduce the risk by half. The classes use CDC approved curriculum and are taught by a certified instructor.
