Bonnie Jean Bargen, the daughter of Emil and Mathilda (Meyer) Bohling, was born on May 16, 1943, in Stoddard, Nebraska. She died Oct. 9, 2024, at the Bethany Home at Lindsborg, Kansas, at the age of 81 years, 4 months, 23 days.
Bonnie was a graduate of Chester High School.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Lyndall Bargen on April 24, 1966, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron, Nebraska.
Bethany Home in Lindsborg became her home in March of 2024, where she resided until her death.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Don and Virgil Bohling.
She is survived by her husband, Lyndall of Lindsborg, Kansas; her children: Deb Fricke and husband, Dan, of Lindsborg, Penny Jaster and husband, Paul, of Salina, David Bargen and wife, Tatianna, of Adams, Nebraska and Andrew Bargen and wife, Amy, of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Tony, Matthew, Annelise and Dawson; and great-grandchildren, Chloe and Dylan; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Her funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior with Pastor Jon Albrecht officiating.
