Cross country runners from the boys and girls teams of Superior and Lawrence-Nelson High Schools competed for places at the state championship meet Thursday at the District D-4 meet hosted by McCool Junction High School. The 5 K races were run over the Camp Kateri course.
The Superior boys team finished in 15th place in the 15 team field with 165 points. Gabe Zavela finished with a time of 22:29.66 for 54th place in the 78 runner field.
