The Rock Hills High School volleyball team concluded their best season in years with a stellar 33-3 record.
The Grizzlies closed out the regular season portion of their schedule by winning their final two matches of the season at the Osborne triangular match last Tuesday at Osborne
Rock Hills swept Stockton, 25-10 and 25-19, in two sets. They downed host Osborne 25-23 and 25-21, for a sweep.
The Grizzlies opened their post-season campaign hosting the 1A D1-Region 4 tournament at Mankato Tuesday. Match results were unavailable at press time. Should the Grizzlies prevail, they will advance to sub-state play.
Halle Mizner headed the kill list against Stockton with 14. Carsyn Vizner posted four kills. Savannah Coil provided three kills. Dacey Beck added two kills. Alex Fogo and Bethany Simmelink finished with one each Coil rocketed through six aces. Simmelink lined through two aces. Ally Beck and Mizner each score with an ace.
Mizner held the net against Osborne with 11 kills. Coil contributed four kills. Vizner accounted for three kills. D. Beck and Simmelink added a kill each. D. Beck and Simmelink pushed through two aces each. Faith Reinert tallied an ace.
The Grizzles, should they advance from regional, and they are the number one seed would play in sub-state Saturday at a site to be determined.
