The Rock Hills Grizzlies ran into a stone wall Clifton-Clyde defense, Friday, as the Eagles handed the Grizzlies a 56-8 loss. Rock Hills failed to score an offensive touchdown in the game which left them with a 4-3 record for the season.
Isaiah Ridgeway completed one of his two pass attempts for 13 yards. Cooper McDill completed four of his 23 pass attempts for 22 yards.
Camden Ward landed two receptions for 16 yards. Ridgeway reeled in one pass for 18 yards. Eli Whelchel nabbed one pass for five yards. Eli Vance lost two yards with his lone reception.
McDill carried the ball 19 times for six yards. Ridgeway took the ball 17 times and picked up 64 yards. Camden Ward picked up 26 yards with his two carries. Vance had a four yard gain with his one run.
McDill showed up with 17 solo tackles. Ward nailed six solo tackles. Ridgeway and Whelchel accounted for three solo tackle each. Draiden Ault and Jevan Herfel produced two solo tackles each. Aaron Underwood and Vance secured a solo tackle each.
Ridgeway provided the only Rock Hills touchdown with an interception return.
Rock Hills hosts Lakeside at Mankato Friday with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
