The Superior Auditorium was filled with friendly people and helpful health information Saturday morning when a broad spectrum of Brodstone Healthcare staff manned tables related to their speciality. The event was free to the public. Sue Guilkey and Jay Scott (PA Student at Brodstone) table (foreground) featured information about blood pressure. Included in their display were vials showing the amount of salt in common foods and the amount of sugar in others. For example, a 12 ounce can of a common soda pop has 12 tablespoons of sugar, while the recommend total amount of sugar recommended for a women is 9 teaspoons. They provided free blood pressure check and informational fliers. Superior Pharmacy and Kingswood Court were also represented at the event.
