Bradley Daniel Kucera, 41, Kansas City, Missouri. formerly of Lincoln, Nebraska, died Oct. 7, at home. Brad was born on Feb. 21, 1983, to Dan and Diane (Brockman) Kucera. He attended St. John’s Elementary School and graduated from Pius X High School in 2001. Brad went on to get his associate of science degree in invasive cardiac technology in 2007 at Bryan College of Health Sciences.
On Aug. 25, 2012, he was married to Jessie Hegemann at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Lincoln. Brad gained a daughter, Kyler Hegemann, and to the union another daughter, Sage Kucera, was born.
Brad was an avid Husker fan in all sports. He was a great and fun dad with a big heart.
Survivors include his wife, Jesse; step-daughter, Kyler; daughter, Sage; parents Dan and Diane Kucera; and brother, Clint.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Lincoln, on Monday, Oct. 14, 2024. Rosary was at 10 and Mass at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Lyle Johnson officiating.
