SHS Cross Country

The Superior High School varsity and junior varsity cross country team members competed at the Fairbury Invitational last Thursday. The meet was run over the Fairbury Country Club course. The varsity races were 5000 meters while the junior varsity races were 2400 meters.

The boys varsity team finished in 11th place, with 202 points, in the 11 team field.

The girls junior varsity team finished in fourth place in the four team field with 62 points.

Deylin Dawson finished in 59th place, with his time of 24:44.82, in the 87 runner field. Cooper Sheely was in 70th place with his time of 26:33.04. Sawyer Nightengale finished in 75th aplace with his time of 26:48.83. Ethan Johnson was in 81st place with his time of 31:04.22. Jacob Slate took 82nd place with his time of 31:30.9.

Tenley Siebecker finished in 57th place in the girls varsity race with her time of 30:53.45 in the 55 runner field.

Kailan Hiatt was in 34th place in the boys junior varsity race with his time of 10:19.76. Wyatt Stephens took 39th place in the 55 runner field with his time of 10:54.09.

Olivia Wagner medaled with her sixth place finish in the girls junior varsity race. Her time was 9:02.05. Lily Wyatt held 42nd place, with her time of 12:57.89, in the 48 runner field. Brennan Littrell took 43rd place with her time of 13:11.39. Haylee Fuller was in 44th place with her time 13:21.5. Annasten Grassmann was in 47th place with her time of 15:31.45.

The Wildcat harriers travel to Geneva today (Thursday) for the Fillmore Central Invitational. First race gun time ia 4:45 p.m.
