A sluggish first quarter did nothing to deter the Rock Hills Grizzlies as they roared back for a 66-16 over the Thunder Ridge Longhorns at Mankato Friday.
Rock Hills trailed 8-0 at the end of the first quarter. They made some adjustments on offense while tightening up the defense. The result was a 28-16 lead at the half. They piled on 32 more points in the third quarter for a 60-16 lead. The Grizzlies added six more points in the fourth quarter to earn a 66-16 win and a 2-0 record.
Cooper McDill went 0-4 in the passing department with one interception.
