RHHS cross country

It was a tough three days for the Rock Hill crosss country team as they competed in two meets. This allowed little time for rest and recovery.

The team competed at the Washington County Invitational meet Thursday and the Wamego Invitational Saturday.

The Washington meet featured mild hill with warm and windy weather conditions. The Wamego meet was conducted in foggy weather over a hilly course. with wet grass.

The Wamego meet featured runners from 72 schools with more than 850 runners.

The boys team finished in fourth place in the 19 team field at Washington. Justin Luong took 16th. Trystyn Reynolds was in 23rd place. Kobi Bowers sewed up 25th place. Spencer Lindberg was in 29th place. Noah Eakins held 44th place. Griffen Dunstan was in 49th place. Cruz Navarro held 54th. Nolan Grout was in 59th. Treyton Reynolds was in 64th place. Blake Fultz was in 67th. Owen Mizner was in 69th place. Kiplee Kussmann finished in 75th place.

Chloe Rothchild was in 23rd place in the girls run. Alivia Lindberg was in 24th place.

Trystyn Reynolds was 62nd at Washington in the boys varsity race. Luong took 67th. Bowers was in 92nd. Lindberg was in at 111. Dunstan held 123rd place. Eakins was in 141st place. Navarro took 150th place.

Grout finished in 69th place in the junior varsity boys race. Fultz was in 102nd. Treyton Reynolds took 124th. Mizner sat in 126th place while Kussman was in 136th place.

Rothchild took 32nd place in the girls junior varsity race. Lindberg was in 41st place.

The team is off until Sept. 26.
