The "deep end" of the swimming area

Earlier this summer, this buoy in the foreground marked the "deep end" of the swimming area. With a rope tied to each, swimmers were encouraged to not go further and the boats were to stay out of the area. Now, the water has receded. Swimmers have returned to their fall schedules and all that might visit the swimming area might be a seagull.
