Nuckolls County 4-H members shine at state fair

Nuckolls County exhibitors performed well at the 2024 Nebraska State Fair. Following are 4-H results.

Josie Watts – red: poultry – AOV American pullet, intermediate poultry showmanship

Cody Brockman – red: abstract photography display; two rainbows – cooking (baking with whole grain and creative mixes); purple – cooking (biscuits or scones, two different candies); four blues – boiling canning (1 jar jellied and 1 jar tomato), floriculture (Vinca) and horticulture – red potatoes

Madelyn Laughlin – blue: creative photography display Unit II; purple: boiling canning (1 jar pickles)
