The Lawrence-Nelson volleyball team went 1-2 at their opening triangular match at Axtell Saturday. They downed Dundy County-Stratton in three sets, 25-21, 23-25 and 25-23.
Axtell handed the Raiders a two-set, 20-25 and 21-25, loss.
It took Alma three sets, 16-25, 25-22 and 21-25, to put away Lawrence-Nelson.
The Raiders host Superior at Lawrence today (Thursday).
The Raiders travel to Friend Tuesday for a match with Exeter-Milligan-Friend.
