Vicki O'Connor

Vicki Sue (Spiegel) O'Connor, 67, Overland Park, Kansas, died July 11, 2024. Born in Concordia to Richard and Nancy Spiegel, Formoso.

Graduate of Mankato High School and Mary- mount College. Retired from St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri, as medical records processing manager.

Vicki married Patrick M. O'Connor on Oct. 18, 1980, at First United Methodist Church, Courtland. They raised two daughters, Jennifer and Katherine, in Olathe, Kansas.

Survivors include her mother, Nancy Spiegel, Formoso; daughters, Jennifer (Brian) Tsiames, Olathe, and Katie O'Connor, Florida; sister, Judy (Steve) Francis, Illinois; and brother, Steve (Janelle) Spiegel, Formoso; grandchildren, Brayden, Maddox, Rowan and Samuel; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; and dear friends, Mary Jane and Phil Sowers.

Preceding her in death were father, Richard Spiegel; grandparents, Jacob and Laura Spiegel and Donald and Evelyn Smith; and special friend, Wayne Hall.

Cremation rites have been accorded by the Cremation Center of Kansas City. A graveside service of inurnment will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, Pleasant View Cemetery, Formoso, Kansas. Celebration of Life open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, at Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, 8909 W 179th St., Overland Park, Kansas.
