Herzog rail train

This Herzog rail train has been parked in Superior on and off in recent weeks. A look at its makeup indicated it was being used for a tie replacement project on the BNSF west of Superior. Herzog provides multi-faceted services to rail companies including ballast laying, tie and crossing replacement as well as other services. The BNSF recently laid ribbon or continuous welded rail west on the Lester sub.
