Susan Harms lives along the Pony Express re-run route and is one of many residents who help others make the run a memorable and fun experience. The group pictured above viewed the event from the Harms yard. The Harms family furnished period hats which could be worn to help set the stage for what it might have been like to live here at the time. Note the interesting clothing and smiles. The Pony Express re-ride occurs every other year.
