Velma Lee Smuck died Saturday, June 15, in Eldorado, Kansas, at her daughter, Jeanette’s home. She was born in rural Booker, Texas, on Aug. 21, 1928. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m., Friday, June 21 at Northbranch Friends Church with Kelly McNichols officiating. Viewing at the church will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
