Monday, John Price Jr. played taps at Memorial Day service in Evergreen and sang the national anthem. Sunday, he joined Randy Sauce and the Superior City Park where the two sang popular tunes and played their guitars.
Chaplain Stan Copeland, Quinter, spoke at the Evergreen Cemetery Memorial Day Service. He is a retired military chaplain who attended elementary school in Superior.

Local veteran and family members placed more than 300 large U.S. flags throughout Evergreen Cemetery Monday morning. Then before the end of the day, each was taken down and will be properly stored. Members of the auxiliary place small U.S. Flags on veteran's graves.
