The Superior High School boys golf team competed at the sub-district C-4 match played over the Indianhead course at Grand Island as they looked to land a place at the state tournament last Tuesday.
The Wildcats failed to qualify as a team with their score of 383. Colten Butler finished in ninth place in the individual standings, with his round of 79, and qualified for state.
Carsyn Koening recorded a round of 94, Cooper Ehlers shot a round of 96 and Ayron Grassman was in with his round of 114.
The state match is being played over the Elks Country Club course at Columbus Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21 and 22. Results were unavailable at press time.
