Gary Keeling

Gary Dean Keeling, the son of Gary and Sonja (Olsen) Keeling, was born on Dec. 28, 1965, in Belleville, Kansas. He died on May 12, 2024, at his residence in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 58 years, 4 months, 14 days. 

Gary attended school in Superior and was a Superior High School graduate. He was employed with the Superior Police Department, then Republican Valley Exterminating, retiring early because of his health.

He married Vicky Isaacson and Valerie and Justin were born to this union. They later divorced. He married Wendy Nutsch and Tanner was born to this union. They were joined by Levi. They later divorced. He married Cindy Jones and her children Tyler, Shawna and Shaina, joined this union. 

Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting and telling stores to his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adna Perry and Irene Keeling and Ole and Katherine Olsen, and his father, Gary.

Survivors include his mother, Sonja; wife, Cindy; his children, Valerie (Brandon) Woerner, and Justin Keeling, all of Superior; Levi Koss of Chester and Tanner Keeling of Superior; and stepchildren Tyler Houston, Shawna (Nick) Bedford, and Shaina (Glenn) Bragg; his sisters, Pamila (Mark) Murphy and Teena (Ron) Wallis, all of Superior; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

His funeral was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2024, from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, Nebraska, with John D. Price officiating.

Music was "Fishing in The Dark " and "The Dance."

  Honorary pallbearers were Jocelyn Woerner, Kayden Woerner, Cooper Woerner, Harlee Hams, Khloe Keeling, Kegan Keeling, Brantlee Woerner and Kendall Koss.
