Will receive business award during festival

A husband and wife duo, Steve Henderson of Alexander Motors and Angela Henderson and Black & Burlap are the Superior 3000 Foundation 2024 Entrepreneurs of the Year.

This is the 19th year this honor has been given during Lady Vestey Festival in honor of Larry McCord.

The selection criteria includes community involvement, impact of the business on the community, pride in their store or business, positive influence in the community, creativity, innovation and community leadership.

Steve bought Alexander Motors, a new car dealership, in 1992.

Angela opened Black & Burlap in 2013 selling custom cabinetry, countertops, decorative hardware, onyx and flooring for every room in the house.

Steve has served on many committees or boards over the years.

Both Steve and Angela are extremely supportive of the community and will often be found attending school and community events.
