With the end of the high school golfing season just ahead, the L-N Raiders took part in two golf meets the week before the district meet. The results were as follows:
THAYER COUNTY INVITE: Thirteen teams took part in this meet and L-N placed 5th with team scores being: EMF 316, Sutton 325, Fairbury 330, Sandy Creek 332, L-N 339, Heartland 348, Thayer Central 355 followed by Blue Hill, Superior, Southern-Diller-Odell and Thayer Central JV.
The Raider top scorers for the day were Connor Janda and Bayln Bargen, both with an 82 score. Jacob Kathman had an 86, Carson Vaughn an 89 and Clay Williams with 103. Janda and Bayln were tied for the 16th spot for scoring.
FRANKLIN INVITE: The other meet was a return trip to Franklin and we don’t have team results. Individual results for the Raiders were: Connor Janda 87, Jacob Kathman 88, Bayln Bargen 93, Carson Vaughn 100, Cody Brockman 101
Janda and Jacob were the 9th and 10th golfer at the meet.
