Marion Ilene Sather, 98, was preceded in death by husband, Marvin, and son, Larry. She is survived by Clifford and Gary (Barb). She was born on a farm near Big Lake, Minnesota, on March 26, 1925, the youngest child of Alfred and Ida (Arneson) Jacobson. Marion was baptized, confirmed and married in the Lutheran Church of River Falls, Wisconsin.
On Aug. 3, 1947, she married Marvin Sather. To this union three sons were born: Gary, Clifford and Larry. Marion had nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Marion had a career in elementary education that lasted for 30 years.
