RHHS FBLA qualifies 21 members for state competition

The Rock Hills High School Chapter of FBLA attended District IV competition at Belleville on Monday, Jan. 29. Nine members competed in presentation events and 28 members competed in objective and production tests. The members hard work paid off earning 59 Top 10 placings in objective tests and 15 Top 4 placings in presentation-production events. A total of 21 members qualified to compete at the State Leadership Conference to be held April 4-5 in Topeka.

Third place: Tyler Hanson, computer problem solving; Adrianna Reyes, healthcare administration; Hannah Simmelink, journalism; Hannah Simmelink, organizational leadership; Tyler Hanson, securities and investment; Arielle Jacobs, business management; Arielle Jacobs, client service; and Lilliana Ortiz, visual design.

Fourth place: Lilianna Ortiz, advertising; Cooper Rhea, business law; David Cleary, cybersecurity; Ethan Wirth, insurance and risk management; Savannah Coil, introduction to business concepts; Justin Luong, introduction to information technology; Justin Luong, introduction to marketing concepts; Cooper Rhea, journalism; Arielle Jacobs, organizational leadership; Arielle Jacobs, securities and investment; Bella Volker, help desk; Kobi Bowers, impromptu speaking; and Bella Volker, job interview.
