Girls vs St. Cecilia

If the Superior Wildcats were riding high off their 56-36 takedown of the Fillmore Central Panthers Saturday, Jan. 13, their game against St. Cecilia, last Tuesday, may have dampened their spirits a bit. Superior took a hard 42-26 fall. The girls scored the fewest points of any game so far this season.

St. Cecilia's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryann Sabatka, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. It is the first time this season that Sabatka pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Avery Kissinger, who scored 14 points.
