Last Wednesday, while I was making my paper deliveries, I slipped and fell. Falling on ice is so weird, one second you are upright, walking, minding your own business, and the next you’re on the ground looking at the sky. I thought I had broken my finger, but after a visit to the doctor, turns out I just sprained it. I didn’t even know that was a thing, but believe me it has been reminding me just how real it is with every key typed. Other than the finger, I seemed to have gotten lucky. My bottom hurt for a little while but is fine. LOL!
Good golly what a cold weekend we had. It’s -2º currently and that’s much warmer than it’s been. Still not warm enough for me to want to leave the house. Even Duke doesn’t want to go outside. I feel bad for those out working in this mess, but thankful they do. I had an appointment yesterday, and wouldn’t have made it without the plows being out.
It’s my birthday week, so I started to celebrate Monday. We woke up to the shower frozen, The plumbing is on an exterior wall (eye roll) so we knew it would happen sooner or later. When we remodel that is going to change. Anyway, once that problem was remedied, I had to go to the doctor, again, so I decided it was a good day to take myself out to lunch at my favorite sushi place. Man I love sushi! And no it’s not all raw fish! LOL!
Then I stoped at my favorite coffee place and came home. Today I may go to my favorite store before going to physical therapy and see if they have anything I can’t live without. My plan for tomorrow is coffee, paper deliveries, and not falling on my rear! Thursday, I’m going to binge watch TV and do my nails. Friday George and I plan to go shopping and to my favorite taco joint. Coffee, tacos, sushi, nails and shopping, what more could a girl ask for. X’s & O’s.
