We got a ton of the heavy, wet, fluffy, white stuff yesterday morning. I’m not sure how much though. I scooped about three inches off the sidewalk around 11 a.m., and a couple more filled in its place, so my best guess was about five inches. It’s the good stuff too, perfect for snow ball fights and black eyes! LOL!
It snowed again last night and the wind blew, so who know what we got here in town. If I had to guess I’d say six inches, maybe 12 inches, I can’t tell, but it’s much appreciated moisture. I hate the cold and the snow but I know we need it.
Duke loved the snow, but not the wind. He is still a scaredy cat when it comes to the wind howling, but he was jumping and playing in the snow like a little kid. George and I took turns taking him out and throwing snow at him, so he could try and catch it. Thankfully, it wore him out so he slept all night. When the weather is bad, it’s hard to keep him entertained, and he gets a little rambunctious around bed time.
I’m not looking forward to scooping Mom’s walk today. George went out to scoop ours and I’m hopeful he will do hers as well. If not, I’ll get bundled up and get it taken care of. I usually don’t mind, but we typically don’t get this much heavy snow. I know, I’m just being a baby, but it’s cold out there!
I wish I had more to write about but I don’t. It’s been a boring week. I hear we have more snow coming too, so next week will likely be more of the same. Stay warm, stay safe. X’s & O’s.
