Superior High School wrestling results

The  Superior High School boys and girls wrestling teams competed at the Fillmore Central Invitational at Geneva Saturday. The boys team finished 12th place, with 51 points in the 14 team field. The girls team finished in 12th place, with 35 points, in the 18 team field.

Holden McDonald took third place honors and 14 team points in the 126 pound weight bracket.

Jackson Bernal earned two team points with his ninth place finish at 132 pounds.

Cooper Benjamin was in fifth place in the 138 pound weight bracket where he earned one team point.

Cooper Sheely competed at 144 pounds. Lincoln Sanders competed at the 150 pound mark. Justice Sander wrestled at 157 pounds.

David Hodges took sixth place at 165 pounds.

Kyler Boyles turned in a first place performance and 27 team points in the 175 pound weight bracket.

Montey Artaeaga was awarded seven team points for his fifth place finish at 190 pounds.

Cheyenne Stacey earned 13 team points for third place in the girls 105 pound weight bracket.

Carlee Hinz earned 20 team points for her second place finish at 140 pounds.

Grace Martin earned two points for her seventh place finish in the 190 pound weight bracket.

The teams travel to Franklin for the Franklin Invitational Saturday.
