The Superior High School girls basketball team lost an overtime claw scratcher to the 10-0 Cross County Cougars in overtime, 62 to 55 at the Runza Holiday Tournament at Central City Friday. The Cougars outscored the Wildcats 14 to 7 in the overtime period to take the win.
Superior visits Hebron Friday for matchup with Thayer Central. The Wildcats host Fillmore Central at the high school gymnasium Saturday. The Wildcats travel to Henderson Tuesday to play Heartland.
