With a final score of 44 to 39, the Superior Wildcats claimed victory over Fairbury in varsity girls basketball played last Tuesday. Superior had 46 rebounds over Fairbury's 27 as well as 11 assists over their 6. Fairbury managed to steal 12 times while the Wildcats stole 10 times. Both teams successfully blocked three times each. Field goal percentage was nearly identical at 28 percent for Superior and 27 percent for Fairbury. Superior made 19 percent of their three-point shots and 53 percent of their free throws while Fairbury made 25 percent of their three-pointers and 67 percent of their free throws.

The girls played Wilber-Clatonia in an away game on Saturday and were defeated but we do not have additional information about the game.
Tuesday they played Blue Hill at Blue Hill and will play Meridian on Friday and CEntennial on Saturday. All are away games.
