Following Bud’s retirement, they moved back to the Guide Rock community to make their home in 1978.

In her leisure time, Dolores enjoyed bus trips with her friends to Nashville, Branson and the Wisconsin Dells. Dolores cherished the time with family, friends and neighbors. She was a lifelong member of the VFW Auxiliary, the Rebecca’s, and she had served as president of the United Methodist Women in Guide Rock for 20 years.
