The lack of bench depth showed up in the Rock Hills High School girls basketball team opening game Friday against Pike Valley at Downs They lost a close game 38-32 in their opening round game of the Lakeside Preseason Tournament.
Bethany Simmelink dropped through 16 points for the Grizzlies.
Rock Hills played Lakeside at Downs Tuesday with game results unavailable at press time.
The Grizzlies play Stockton at Downs Friday. They take on Thunder Ridge at Downs Saturday.
