James McClure Anderson "Bud Man," age 69, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at his home in Burr Oak, Kansas. He was born on July 12, 1954, in Forney, Texas, to Charles and Margie (McClure) Anderson.
James was a 1972 graduate of Leavenworth High School.
On May 16, 1998, he married Teresa J. Hunt in Burr Oak, Kansas, at the fire hall surrounded by friends. To this union, three children were born: Lynn, Kathaleen and Becca Marie.
James enjoyed hunting, fishing and driving truck.
James worked for Sunflower Manufacturing in Beloit, Kansas, as a fork lift driver and parts handler. He later became a truck driver for Dahlsten Trucking Line Inc. out of Clay Center, Nebraska. Then, after beating cancer, he worked for Anderson Hay.
He was preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Steve; daughter, Becca; and nephew, Eric.
James is survived by his wife Teresa "Terry" Anderson of the home in Burr Oak; a son, Lynn McDaniel (Tabitha); daughter, Kathaleen; sister, Judy (Cam); brother, Troy (Denice) and uncle, Orval; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many friends.
James wishes were to be cremated and fed to the sharks. A funeral will take place at a later time. Memorial contributions will be determined at a later date, in care of the funeral home.
