Special pre-Christmas activities are continuing this week in Superior.
All area residents are invited to gather in downtown Superior between 5 and 7 p.m. to celebrate the holiday season with the members of the Superior Chamber of Commerce.
Santa Claus is scheduled to visit with the youngsters at the Farmers & Merchants Bank. Brodstone Healthcare will be provide a meal in the bank’s drive-through space.
Mrs. Claus will visit with the youngsters at Main Street Floral. There will be cookie decorating at Ideal Market and a Human Snow Globe at the Vestey Center.
The Superior High School Choir and members of the Harvest Christian Church will be singing Christmas carols between Fourth and Fifth streets.
Superior Pharmacy will again sponsor an ugly sweater contest.
Meet and greet Princes and Princess inside Home Federal Bank. Hayrack rides through Candy Cane Lane will load in the City Administration Building parking lot.
Alexander Motors will sponsor a free movie at the Crest. The animated version of Grinch will be shown.
Stores throughout Superior will be open and many will be serving treats.
The Talmage Quartet will present a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Superior Auditorium.
The names of four winners were drawn Monday morning. Winning 50 Superior Bucks were Brian Lueking, Courtney Clark, Annie Purcell and Josh Koehler. Another drawing will be held Monday.
A high school group will offer package wrapping services at the GTA insurance agency office.
