Steven Wayne “Steve” Rakosky, age 63, of Grand Island died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023.
To honor Steve’s wishes cremation was chosen. All Faiths Funeral Home served the family.
Steve was born April 6, 1960, in Ord, Nebraska, the son of Wayne and Barbara (Klanecky) Rakosky. He grew up in Loup City, graduating from Loup City High School, Class of 1978.
On Sept. 19, 1981, he married Barbara Joy. They had met while both were employed at Fonner Park. Steve had also worked at Mid-America Dairymen, Inc. at Superior. He then got his CNA license and was employed with Good Samaritan in Nelson, Nebraska. He...
