Emma Claycamp

Emma Claycamp was born Jan. 7, 1943, to Charles and Elsie (Drake) Colby and died Nov. 10, 2023, in Manhattan, Kansas, at the age of 80 years.

Emma was a 1960 graduate of Beloit High School. She married the love of her life, Darrell Clay- camp, on March 22, 1965. In this marriage, they were blessed with two children, Gina and Curtis.

She enjoyed watching and attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's school events.

Emma is survived by her daughter, Gina Bulthaup (Mike); grandsons, Nathan Bulthaup and his children: Kale, Jackson, and Wren, and Nicolas Bulthaup and girlfriend, Ellie all of Manhattan, Kansas; sister, Judy, Beloit; sister-in-laws, Leota McCarthy and Dorothy Davies; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell; son, Curtis Lee Claycamp; brother, Todd; and sisters, Ellen and Dana.

Her funeral was held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mankato, Kansas, with Pastor Dennis Beckman officiating. 

Visitation was held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Interment followed in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Mankato.
