The Lawrence-Nelson High School cross country teams will compete at the District D-4 meet today (Thursday) for places at the state championship meet. The race will be run over the Elks Country Club course in Hastings. Adams Central is the host school.
Other teams and runners from Blue Hill, Centura, Deshler, Doniphan-Trumbull, Fullerton, Gibbon, Grand Island Central Catholic, Harvard, Hastings St. Cecilia, Heartland Lutheran, Kenesaw, Lawrence-Nelson, McCool Junction, Nebraska Christian, Palmer, Ravenna, Red Cloud, Sandy Creek, Shelton, Silver Lake, Superior, Thayer Central, Twin River and Wood River are looking to qualify for the state meet at Kearney.
