The Rock Hills High School volleyball team capped their busy week with a 4-3 record to sit at 14-11for the season.
The Grizzlies fell to Sylvan-Lucas in two sets, 18-25 and 16-25, at last Tuesday's triangular match at Pike Valley. Rock Hills handed host Pike Valley a two set loss, 25-17 and 25-17.
Rock Hills hosted their invitational tournament Saturday at Mankato.
Rock Hills downed Lincoln in two sets, 25-20 and 27-25. They handed the Republic County Buffaloes a three-set, 25-20, 26-28, 25-22 loss. St. John's-Tipton avenged an earlier loss to the Grizzlies with a two set, 12-25 and 21-25, sweep. Republic county bounced back to down the Grizzlies in two sets, 22-25 and 24-26. Rock Hills landed a two-set, 25-20 and 25-19, sweep of Thunder Ridge.
Rock Hills competed at a triangular match Tuesday at Natoma along with Tescott.
Halle Mizner listed four kills against Sylvan-Lucas. Faith Reinert nailed two kills. Savannah Coil had a kill.
Ally Beck put up 18 digs. Bethany Simmelink and Dacey Beck claimed nine digs each. Mizner recorded eight digs. Reinert sent up seven digs. Coil added four digs. Peyton Zadina had two digs while Taygen Meier had one dig.
Mizner jammed down five kills against Pike Valley. Reinert added two kills. Zadina had one kill.
Simmelink slashed through four aces. Reinert laced through two aces. D. Beck, Coil and Mizner each scored with an ace.
A. Beck lifted up 14 digs. Mizner flipped up six kills. Meier claimed four digs. Simmelink listed two digs. Reinert had a dig.
Mizner contributed 13 kills against Lincoln. Reinert pounded away with four kills. Coil and Meier accounted for three kills each.
Mizner recorded three aces. D. Beck scored with two aces. Reinert filed through an ace.
A. Beck popped up 20 digs. Mizner was good for 13 digs. D. Beck and Simmelink posted eight digs each. Reinert was finished with seven digs. Meier listed five digs. Grace Ayers had a dig.
Mizner was atop the kill list against Republic County with 11. D. Beck added two kills.
Coil and Mizner sliced through three aces apiece. Simmelink and Mizner darted through two aces each. D. Beck and Meier each scored with an ace.
Mizner contributed 21 digs. A. Beck accounted for 19 digs. D. Beck collected 18 digs. Simmelink handled five digs. Meier, Reinert and Zadina each had a dig.
Mizner reported six kills against St. John's-Tipton while A. Beck had one kill.
Coil and Mizner each scored with an ace.
