The Superior High School cross country team competed at the Franklin Invitational Thursday. The Wildcat boys finished in sixth place, with 166 points, in the eight team field of Franklin, Bertrand, Alma, Wilcox-Hildreth, Amherst and Blue Hill. The 5K race was run over the Franklin Golf Club course.
Kash Wenske was in 28th place in the 67 runner field with his time of 22:50.09. Carsyn Koenig was in 30th place with his time of 23:10.68. Brayton Meyer held 34th place with his time of 23:20.42. Deylin Lawson finished in 45th place with his time of 24:28.52. Ryan Kramp came in 51st with his time of 25:40.92. Ryder Cady landed 58th place with his time of 27:06.35. Ayron Grassman was in 67th place with his time of 35:18.44. The four fastest individual finished make up the team score.
Three team members of the boys’ and girls’ middle school team competed in the 2400 meter race.
Victor Wagoner was in 25th place in the 57 runner boys field with his time of 13:33.51. Carter Eitzmann held down 46th place with a time of 15:38.83. Levi Clark was in 48th place with his time of 16:52.06.
Tenley Seibeceker finished in 16th place in the 33 runner girls’ field with her time of 15:14.26. Haylee Fuller was in 29th place with her time of 19:45.31. Kylee Roberts had a time of 24:35.14 for 32nd place.
Superior travels to Beloit today (Thursday) for the Beloit Invitational. Gun time for the first race is set for 3:45 p.m.
