The Superior High School cross country team traveled to Geneva Thursday for the Fillmore Central Invitational. The races were run over the Hidden Hills Country Club course.
The Wildcat runners competed in the boys junior varsity race.
Superior finished in fifth place for the 5K race, with 74 points, in the six team field of Lincoln Christian, Gothenburg, Malcolm, Hastings St. Cecilia and East Butler.
Brayton Meyer was a medalist with his 10th place finish in the 51 runner field with his time of 21:08.17. Carsyn Koening was in 17th place in the individual standings with his time of 21:59.97. Deylin Lawson finished in 33rd place with a time of 23:38. 87. Mason Korb held 47th place with his time of 27:45.07. Ayron Grassman was in 50th place with his time of 32:32.44.
Superior competed at the Franklin Invitational at Franklin Tuesday with results unavailable at press time.
The team returns to competition, Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Beloit Invitational.
