SHS girls golf season opens

The Superior High School girls golf team opened their season Tuesday at the Superior Country Club. They hosted Doniphan-Trumbull.
The team has qualified for the state championship the past two years.
This season, the team has a new coach, Brittany Carpenter, and has three players. Nadia McMeen and Lauren Tietjen are the senior members while Rayne Biltoft returns as a junior.
