Dr. Walker appointed health department officer

The Jewell County Commissioners Keith Roe, and Ed Duskie were present for the Aug. 21 meeting. Carla Waugh, county clerk, attended the meeting.

Cindy Becker, health administrator, had a contract for the commissioners’ approval with Mitchell County for the WIC program participants. Commissioners approved signing the contract with Mitchell County to provide nutrition education for the WIC program participants.
